Bridesmaid Box

I wanted to share with you my "Will You Be My Bridesmaid Boxes" that I put together for earlier this year. I was inspired by this post here, but put my own details and added a few things to make it my own. I made two versions of these, one for my bridesmaids and a mini flower girl version for my sweet nieces. I scored some cute white gift boxes with gold trim and silver glitter ones from target clearance after the christmas season. They were perfect for the look I wanted and coordinated well with the colors in my wedding. I added a few fun items that and some that reflect details of our wedding day.

I forgot to take photos of the other ones but this one was for my Matron of Honor. I wanted this to be a fun and special way to "propose" to each of the my ladies. In each box I included a color swatch of our wedding colors, coordinating nail polish, a photo of the two of us, Champagne with a gold glitter flute,  candies and a Wedding booklet with the details of our day and style guide.
In the Wedding booklet I included details about:
- Colors + Style of our day
- Our Venues
- Dress Style
- All the Ladies
- Their role as Bridesmaids

You can also see more about my boxes on Ali Leigh's blog here.

For all you newly engaged couples, here is an overview of a few of my favorite wedding suites. I love creating unique wedding stationary for couples on their special day.

WE HAD A PARTY!

This year my best friend got married- so we we had a party! I had a lot of fun planning this coed lumber jack shower. Flannel was encouraged and peanut shavings were thrown on the ground. It was a great time celebrating the love of my best friends and how God has brought them together. Here are a few images of the lovely celebration. Also featured on Something Turquoise here.

MINT + GARDEN WEDDING

I created these invites for a styled wedding shoot with Expressions Photography and Ember Grove Photogaphy. I spent an afternoon painting acrylic flowers to use for them.

She said yes!!

About a month ago my friend John Brown asked my best friend Kyla a very special question. I'm so honored that I got to share this moment with them and capture it. I feel so blessed to have these two people in my life and am excited for them and the many years to come. Yay for wedding planning! This last week I have been busy editing some of their engagement photos. We spent a  afternoon in a perfect romantic setting in the woods with Civil Wars and Mumford and Sons playing on my iphone. I have never captured anyone so in love as them and so many beautiful shots....seriously... like 90! I picked a few of my favorites to share. Loves you Kyla & John! Enjoy :)
